News site.

The following are from our sample of 78,357 listings by 3291 sites
for 508 news items during 2008.
Featured rating:
Newsknife rates Iraq news coverage over 5 years
We're surprised ourselves to see how much attention Newsknife has
given to rating news coverage of the Iraq war.
In February 2003 we rated news sites covering Powell at the UN,
and worldwide protests. In March we rated news sites on three days
as they covered the move into Baghdad. In April we optimistically
ran a rating titled "Iraq: war and beyond-best sites overall".

Now, 5 years after Saddam's fall, Newsknife has ranked news sites
covering Iraq-related news during 2008 year-to-date. From 4640 listings
by 748 news sites for 41 Iraq-related news items at Google News,
we've produced 3 reports:

on their home page and thirty on each sub-page, all "sorted
by relevance". We award each site points per appearance on
a sliding scale (with occasional tweaking) to get the ranked positions.
The second column is the number of appearances we recorded as the
